Harvey Bunegar is an independent filmmaker, working primarily in the realm of documentary and broader nonfiction contexts. He is the founder of the Open Cinematic filmmakers' co-op. As a committed environmental activist, Harvey is currently developing work seeking to engage directly with ecological, social and political concerns. Harvey is a graduate of the Arts University Bournemouth and is a UKTI Global Entrepreneur Programme alumnus.

Harvey Bunegar is an independent filmmaker, sensory ethnographer and adventurer working primarily in the realm of documentary and broader nonfiction contexts. He is the founder of the Open Cinematic filmmakers' co-op. Based in Vietnam, Harvey is currently developing a series of ethnographic shorts for Heritage Centre Sapa. His feature debut Harvest, following the lives of a family of farmers in the northern highlands, was premiered at the 2022 Flickers' Rhode Island International Film Festival.
